Stakeholder consultation: Maintaining Vegetated Stormwater Assets guideline update

Water by Design has recently produced a draft update to our Maintaining Vegetated Stormwater Assets guideline and are seeking feedback on it.

This latest version draws on over a decade of knowledge and experience gained since the release of the original document to provide updated information and advice on planning and undertaking maintenance for swales, bioretention systems, constructed wetlands, and sediment basins.

To view the draft and provide feedback, please download the following documents and return to jack.m@hlw.org.au by Friday 17 April 2026:

We will also be hosting a stakeholder consultation webinar on this draft document on Wednesday 8 April 2026.
