Guidelines for Soil Filter Media in Bioretention Systems (Version 3.01) Facility for Advancing Water Biofiltration, June 2009. The Facility for Advancing Water Biofiltration (FAWB) has released a new version of the Guidelines for Soil Filter Media in Bioretention Systems. This revision provides a simpler and more robust guideline for both soil-based and engineered filter media. A copy of the guideline is now accessible on the Monash University’s website here.

Transition to WSUD: The Story of Melbourne, Australia This report, released by the Facility for Advancing Water Biofiltration (FAWB) in association with the National Urban Water Governance Program, presents the findings of social research focused on identifying the key institutional change ingredients that will lead to the mainstreaming of the WSUD approach. Lifecycle Costs of Water Sensitive Urban Design Treatment Systems (Draft Nov 2007) This draft report was prepared for Brisbane City Council, and presents lifecycle costs on a range of stormwater quality management systems. It is important to read ‘Chapter 4: Summary of Data and Recommendations for Use’ prior to using the information for planning purposes.
