Urban water management is undergoing a rapid and fundamental shift in policy and practice, accompanied by advancements in technology. Increased knowledge and skills is imperative to be able to respond to these changes.
That is where the award winning Water by Design education program can help you. There are currently 10 multi-disciplinary short courses provided to help build knowledge and skills in water sensitive urban design.
The courses span a range of topics across the development and infrastructure lifecycle including the conceptual design of water sensitive urban developments, the fundamentals of designing, constructing and establishing stormwater management systems, and stormwater harvesting. The courses assist participants to use and implement a range of complimentary guidelines that are being applied across South East Queensland.
Presented by recognised industry and research experts who have significant practical experience in water sensitive urban design, these courses are continuously updated to keep practitioners abreast of the evolutions in policy, practice and technology that are occurring in urban design and water management.

In-house Training Opportunities:
